Shutts & Bowen names Daniel Barsky partner in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Feb. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Daniel Barsky has been promoted to partner in Shutts & Bowen's West Palm Beach office, where he had been an associate.

Mr. Barsky is a member of the office’s Business Litigation Department and of the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group.  His practice includes representing clients in commercial litigation, appellate, intellectual property, defamation, construction and real estate related litigation. Mr. Barsky is a Registered Patent Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

He received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, and his B.S. in biological chemistry and economics from Bates College.

He is a member of the Florida and Minnesota bars, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. Florida Super Lawyers selected him as a Florida Rising Star for three years.

Active in his profession and community, Mr. Barsky is a member of the Board of Directors, Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, Inc., where he was former corporate secretary and member of the executive board of directors. He is vice chair of the Appellate Practice Committee in the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and is a member of the board of directors of the Palm Beach Young Lawyers Division. He is a former member of the executive board of the Dranoff Two-Piano Competition Foundation.
