Shutts & Bowen names George Andrews partner in Fort Lauderdale

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Feb. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- George Andrews has been promoted to partner in Shutts & Bowen (http://www.shutts.com)'s Fort Lauderdale office, where he had been an associate.

Mr. Andrews is a commercial litigator with experience representing financial institutions in cases involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and the Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act. He is an attorney with Shutts & Bowen’s Business Litigation Practice Group.

Before becoming an attorney, he was operations manager for a multi-million-dollar manufacturing company, giving him significant business insight into his litigation matters.

Mr. Andrews received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, and his B.S., with distinction, from Barry University, where he was a member of the Pi Gamma Mu National Honor Society.

He is admitted to court in U.S. District Court in the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
