SPI Study Abroad Announces Exciting Travel Excursions for Italian Study Abroad Program

AUSTIN, Texas - Feb. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Austin, Texas (February 13, 2014) – SPI Study Abroad, a leading program provider of language immersion and leadership programs for high school students, announced exciting travel and cultural excursions for their 2014 summer program in Siena, Italy.

As part of the Siena program, students will have the chance to explore some of Italy’s most famed places, including Rome, Florence, and Orvieto. These travel excursions will give students an in-depth look at the rich culture, beautiful art, and amazing cuisine that make Italy so significant.

In addition, SPI Siena students experience the Palio di Siena as part of their program – the Palio is a historic horseback race and festival that takes place over the course of four days, and involves the entire town. By taking part in this celebrated event, students are able to forge a truly authentic connection with Siena’s heritage and immerse themselves in Italian culture.

Siena itself is an absolutely breathtaking town in the heart of scenic Tuscany, and is renowned for its many medieval treasures and beauty.
