Free Brass PEX Fittings

These fittings are comprised of Brass PEX fittings, that are both lead free and manufactured to fit nearly any tubing diameter, from 1/2” PEX x 1/2”, to one inch by one inch. This addition has broached an already consumer friendly supply into a more health oriented outlook, for being free of lead, while still maintaining the efficiency and durability of brass elbows.

This announcement comes as a response to growing concern and raised awareness of the hazardous properties of even the subtlest quantities of lead. Only in the last few decades have measures been available to make lead free plumbing viable and affordable, and this is another response to the fact that most exposure to lead is still in the water system of a home. This is likely the result of old piping, and the lack of availability of truly safe lead free products.  The EPA estimates “that 10 to 20 percent of human exposure to lead may come from lead in drinking water.
