Ashley Winters Receives Nod from Country Music Association

Ashley Winters drives country music in a refreshing new direction with a style and debut EP she calls, Country Noir.  Her unique style and demanding stage presence has caught the attention of the CMA this year.  CMA nods their head announcing Winters’ as one of their upcoming artists in 2014.   Her throwback approach is spotlighted by her traditional bluesy vocals honed by years of listening to a surprising array of artists.  Winters delivers a song with a full spectrum of emotions and inflections unique to her rich textures and power. The versatile singer-songwriter best expresses her voice through songs she has penned.  As evidenced on Country Noir, Winter’s song writing skills are razor sharp, with three solely-written tunes on her debut, Hold Your Horses, Photographs and It’s Not Me.  Additionally, After The Break and For The Ride are co-writes with some of Nashville’s finest: Noah Gordon, Jeremy Campbell and Producer, Robert Wright.

Winter’s works with a Multi-Gold and Platinum award-winning professional team for her outing comprised of Producer, Robert Wright (Chris Cagle, Richochet, Bevereley Mahood and Paul Scott), Managers Kevon Glickman and Jill Pavel of Blingnot Media and celebrated Photographer and Director Jim Shea.

“Country Noir” will release on itunes and other retail outlets through Blingnot Media on February 14^th.  Her five song EP fully showcases the spectrum that is Ashley Winters: Singer, Writer, Guitarist & Pianist. This is an artist whose time is now and her sound is Country Noir.
