Xenium Digital Rolls Out Interactive Games For Maruti Suzuki at India Auto Expo

 
MUMBAI, India - Feb. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Greater Noida, New Delhi:  The 12th edition of India Auto Expo started on the 5th with a bang. It was the most awaited event of the year, its initial two days were reserved exclusively for the media and later from the 7th was open to the general public. All the industry players, irrespective of the country of their origin had left no stone unturned for this expo. On the first day, Maruti Suzuki India, one of the leading Indian companies to exhibit, unveiled two new cars for the press - the crossover SX4-Cross and the Concept Ciaz. They had also planned many more interactive activities for the visitors for the next following days.

This year the expo was held from 5th to 11th February in New Delhi, it was divided into two parts, The Components Show at Pragati Maidan and The Motor Show at Greater Noida. With a record number of launches, compared to that of the expo held in 2012, everyone had worked hard to put up a better show for the people. Companies have not missed out on this great opportunity to revive their sales and demand for the rest of the year.

In the midst of the automobile market in India, Maruti Suzuki launched two new cars, aimed at meeting the growing demands of sedans in markets like India and China. Along with these two concept cars, Maruti Suzuki displayed 14 different models, including variants of existing models such as Swift, Alto, Dzire, Ertiga and Ritz. Besides this, few interactive on-ground activations were organized to engage the visitors with the brand. The games “Style Your Drive” and “Step It Up” was popular among the people attending the show, what made them stand out was that these games allowed the visitors to interact with the brand.

Xenium Digital a well known and an award winning interactive advertising agency, conceptualized and implemented these two activities by making the best use of technology for Maruti Suzuki India. The activity “Style Your Drive” gave the visitors a chance to paint their preferred Maruti car. They were given a choice to choose from 4 models which were Dzire, Ertiga, Swift and Stingray. These cars were divided into three parts – Body, Bumper and Alloy Wheels, the participant could color only the part which he has chosen out of these three. The participant had to decide on a color with a paint gun provided to them and they were ready to paint the car. IR technology and cameras were used for this activation. The participant was given options to Save or Erase the design they created. Once saved, they could print a copy or share it with others.

Whereas the other activation “Step It up”, brought alive the whole event. This activation was aimed at enhancing the user experience and brand engagement. This competitive game, had the 4 registered participants in each race, tapping their way till the end to win and come at the top of the leader board. Out of the 3 models of Maruti – Swift, Alto K10 and SX4, the participants selected one to race with. The leader board was updated every hour to announce the winners.

The 3D Designs and Experience implemented by Xenium Digital in the activations was a treat to the eyes. The visitors got a chance to experience the brand Maruti Suzuki first hand. At this year’s India Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki along with Xenium Digital created an unforgettable experience for the visitors.
