You can find love again, says UK relationship expert, as Valentine’s Day exposes rise in numbers

LONDON - Feb. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- It’s Valentine’s Day on Friday – the most romantic day of our calendar year  – and likely to be quite a day, if the latest figures on the number of singles and those wanting to find love are anything to go by! Single-person households are increasing at the rate of 166,000 a year in the UK and, for the first time, married-couple households, at 47%, are in the minority. And, according to the Government Office for Science, with 42% of marriages now ending in divorce, singletons are on course to become the biggest type of household by 2031.

But there’s no reason for divorcees, or the long-term single, to stay on their own if they don’t want to, explains relationship expert Genevieve Zawada, creator of Love Match Weekends (http://www.lovematchweekends.co.uk). “Being single can be a life choice ‒ and some people are happy to remain so,” says Genevieve, who discovered a natural talent for bringing people together after five couples she introduced at a party continued seeing each other ‒ and some of them even got hitched. “Others, however, yearn for the intimacy and support, the friendship and the fun of a committed relationship.

“However, whether you’re male or female, whether you’re recently single and don’t know where to start or have simply lost the confidence in your ability to attract the right partner, there are skills you can learn to help you find a new relationship ‒ and maintain that love once you’ve found it ‒ if that’s what you want! And that’s why we’ve created Love Match Weekends. Effectively, we’re helping people bridge the gap between divorce and finding love again.

“Often, finding love is about developing confidence in yourself again – tooling yourself up for the modern dating world, with relationship skills and techniques that give you the confidence to make a success of love,” says Genevieve. “But, however much you dream of having a fulfilling romantic partnership, finding one takes a little more than that… it takes a positive mindset and positive action.”

Love Match Weekends have been designed for single professionals looking for long-term love ‒ and combine relaxing and fun entertainment, sumptuous meals and champagne receptions with six hours of top quality coaching and workshop training ‒ all set in luxurious and elegant country-house style surroundings.  Genevieve also runs Reconnection Weekends for couples looking to rediscover the connection that brought them together in the first place.

For Valentine’s Day, readers get a special offer on Love Match Weekends. Just mention this title when booking (and there’s a £50 discount for each friend that comes with you).

ABOUT RECONNECTION WEEKENDS

We all know how difficult life can be and the pressures that couples sometimes face can often make or break their relationship. The UK has one of the highest divorce rates in Europe and, other than the traditional method of ‘couples therapy’ there has been little support in place. Reconnection Weekends are dedicated packages for up to 30 couples who are looking to reconnect during or after a difficult period in their relationship. Our weekends are not designed to replace therapy, but to enable partners to reconnect in a loving and supportive way.
