Imaginuity and City of University Park launch new website

DALLAS - Feb. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- DALLAS, TX – In order to update the look and feel of the design, the City of University Park, Texas, has launched a new website that includes customized landing pages for both the library and parks department. Continuing a 12-year working relationship, the City of University Park chose Dallas-based interactive agency Imaginuity to create the new site.

“This is the second site redesign we have done for University Park,” Imaginuity partner and vice president of business development Gary Hooker said. “We have had a long, successful relationship with them. And it is one of the most beautiful cities you will ever see.”

The new website includes:

- News and events are now easy to update and customizable.
- An overall re-architect and reorganization of the site.
- Updated imagery throughout the website, as well as the individual park's galleries.
- An updated content management system built using the Kentico Content Management System (CMS) to make it easy to use and make site updates.

“Planning our new website, the city had three key objectives,” said Steve Mace, City of University Park spokesman. “We wanted a layout with vibrant photography to immediately convey the beauty and charm of our parks, neighborhoods and retail centers.  Secondly, we wanted easy-to-use navigation with one-click access to the most sought-after information and transactions. Finally, the site had to highlight our news and video offerings regardless of the platform selected. Imaginuity exceeded our expectations and demonstrated what has set them apart since we chose them in 2003 to design and implement our first community website – outstanding creativity.”

University Park, a predominantly residential community of 23,500 residents, is located approximately five miles north of downtown Dallas.
