PRLog - Feb. 17, 2014 - HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. -- Mary Tellers will teach a Sit Down and Get Fit Chair Yoga course February 19-March 12, 2014; 12:00-12:45 PM at Chaska Community Education, Chaska, MN.
Lakshmi celebrating chair yoga!
This course is for those that are challenged by the "sit down" syndrome that plagues office workers, commuters, seniors, couch potatoes, or disabled persons. It is for those with weight challenges, inflexibility, and low energy. A daily practice of yoga on a chair will keep one's body limber, mind alert, and spirits high.
This class will teach how the chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of the body allowing attendees to take full advantage of yoga's well-documented fitness and health benefits.
Attendees will learn chair yoga postures, breathing techniques, and other Eastern modalities that they can continue to practice at their home or office.
Register for class by calling 952-556-7200 or go to www.ce4all.org.
