The school will initially offer Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in digital media, graphic design, and visual communication concentrations. The school partnered with Harrisburg University in 2012 to allow students to begin their 4 year degree program in Philadelphia, and then transfer to Harrisburg. Now, students have the opportunity to receive their full 4 year degree from Hussian in Philadelphia.
“We have been working tirelessly over the past couple of years to meet the requirements established for accrediting postsecondary Bachelor’s Degree programs,” says Melissa Morgan, President of Hussian School of Art. “We wanted to build upon more than 65 years of solid visual arts education, and provide our students with an opportunity to continue their education to receive a Bachelor’s degree. Our goal is for our students to have every possible competitive advantage so they are able to quickly enter the job market following graduation.”
