Christina Motley, a successful serial entrepreneur, CEO and Chief Marketing Officer-on-Demand, will deliver two back-to-back one-hour interactive presentations on “Communication:
Critical Skills for Workplace Success” to freshman students at Wakefield High School February 14, 2014. The workshops bring together nearly 100 students studying the Principles of Business & Personal Finance and Teen Living.
“Good communication leads to better understanding and mutual confidence,”
said Motley. “How we give and receive information, as well as convey our ideas and opinions with those around us is essential. In fact, employers consistently rank good communication skills at the top of the list for potential employees. I’m honored to be able to speak with the studentsand share the variety of forms and skills necessary for effective communication.”
The workshop is part of the "Skills to Pay the Bills: Mastering Soft Skills for Workplace Success," curriculum developed by ODEP focused on teaching "soft" or workforce readiness skills to youth.
Founded in 1999, Wakefield High School is one of the top public high schools in the country. U.S. News'
