PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 10, 2014 - LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Educational Adventurer Angela Riggs will be presenting at the 2014 INA Annual Conference in Los Angeles next month. Her presentation, The Guided Toolbox, will help nannies and childcare professionals creatively and effectively redirect behavior in children. Some tools she will be discussing include positive guidance techniques by developing choice charts and using picture cues.

Riggs is currently employed by Sullivan University, where she has been teaching for nearly 14 years.  As the Associate Dean of the Early Childhood Education Program, her focus has been on online studies, aligning Early Childhood Education program outcomes and assessments, and growing her business, Personalized Educational Adventures, LLC. Before joining the staff at Sullivan University, Riggs was employed by Jefferson County Public Schools as an elementary teacher.

Through Personalized Educational Adventures, Riggs utilizes her 22 years of educational and travel experience to offer one-on-one customized adventures for children and young adults, through hands-on, fun-filled learning.

Beginning March 1, children can experience “Science in the Sunshine State,” a 7-day excursion in Florida with Riggs herself. The points of interest include Legoland, the Florida Aquarium, Dinosaur World, Busch Gardens and more. Riggs will travel to the home and set up an amber alert tracker, so parents will never have to worry. Airfare, hotel and admission is included in this extraordinarily packaged deal. During the journey, children will connect curiosity to knowledge, explore new places and concepts, build knowledge using hands-on activities and create irreplaceable memories for life.

One parent says, "I swear, he came back a different kid. He is more confident, a little more grown up, and not so reliant on others for the help he thought he needed before."

After the adventure, Riggs coaches parents on how to continue building knowledge beyond the classroom and expand the minds of their children. Book by March 1, 2014 to take advantage of travel dates ranging from March 1 - June 15, 2014. Prices start at 1,800 for travel and expenses, plus educator daily fees are reduced by 50% when booked before March 1.
