Educational Adventurer Angela Riggs Presenting at the 2014 INA Annual Conference

Her presentation, The Guided Toolbox, will help nannies and childcare professionals creatively and effectively redirect behavior in children. Some tools she will be discussing include positive guidance techniques by developing choice charts and using picture cues.

Riggs is currently employed by Sullivan University, where she has been teaching for nearly 14 years.  As the Associate Dean of the Early Childhood Education Program, her focus has been on online studies, aligning Early Childhood Education program outcomes and assessments, and growing her business, Personalized Educational Adventures, LLC. Before joining the staff at Sullivan University, Riggs was employed by Jefferson County Public Schools as an elementary teacher.

Through Personalized Educational Adventures, Riggs utilizes her 22 years of educational and travel experience to offer one-on-one customized adventures for children and young adults, through hands-on, fun-filled learning.
