By: Poricy Park Conservancy Those who register for summer camp for a minimum of one week of half-day camps will receive a 10% discount on camp programs and extended care fees. This is in addition to any other discounts, including multiple week or sibling discounts. The early bird discount is valid with paid registration from now through the Open House on Saturday, February 22. Visitors at the Open House are invited to tour the Nature Center and grounds, meet the staff and the Park's permanent residents. The 2014 Poricy Park Summer Camp program list is available online for download at www.PoricyPark.org. Poricy Park Summer Camp program offers kids, ages 3-12, the opportunity to enjoy outdoor play, nature hikes and themed activities. Extended day morning or afternoon options are also available. Programs begin end-June and run through end-August. Poricy Park Conservancy is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization located at 345 Oak Hill Road in Middletown Township. With exceptional ecological resources, the 250 acre historical and nature site makes it one of the largest parks in Monmouth County. The Park offers recreational activities such as magnificent wooded hiking trails, bird watching, pristine pond settings, fishing, and a one-of-a-kind 70 million year-old Cretaceous fossil bed. Poricy Park is home to the 1770 NJ Historic Murray Farmhouse and Barn. The Nature Center is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm.
