2014 Ekornes Stressless 1st Quarter Event & New Factory Specials

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Feb. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Retailer LifeStyles Furniture of Davenport, Iowa is partnering with Ekornes of Norway to provide a special Stressless furniture event during the 1st Quarter of 2014 with an ending date of March 24th. Also featured will be new factory specials on select Stressless furniture styles many of which were created to take advantage of the new North Carolina assembly plant. New factory specials are being made available in 2014 that feature most Stressless furniture designs such as sofas, loveseats, chairs and sectionals available in limited paloma and batick leather colors at special reduced pricing. Many of these specials are tied to the Ekornes Fast-Track North American Program which was developed as a way to reduce 12-14 week lead times out of Norway. The North Carolina assembly plant expansion was created to get lead times down to 6-8 weeks on select special order styles and colors. Many of the new factory specials were created to take advantage of the reduced lead times in specific products and colors at this assembly plant.

A new 1st Quarter Event from February 7th through March 24th will see Ekornes lift its MRP (minimum retail price) for a special event allowing consumers a chance for reduced pricing on Stressless leather seating. Included in the event are all Stressless sofas, loveseats, recliners, sectionals, home theater, office chairs and ottomans. The specific details for this event are that individuals will receive complimentary pricing upgrades on all leather grades. Batick, paloma, classic or royalin leathers will be available at the next lowest grade price.
