Follow on Google News | Successful Trend Monitoring on Modular Test SetupsA contribution of AneCom AeroTest at the InnoTesting Conference 2014
Trend Monitoring is a procedure in which changes in operational parameters of test engines and facility components are analyzed to identify performance deterioration and malfunction of components. In that way, this method can reduce facility downtime and maintenance costs by making engine behavior more predictable. This ensures an outstanding level of operational readiness, hence a minimum of technical malfunctions and unscheduled maintenance. Trend Monitoring is already being used in industrial scales, e.g. at the monitoring of aero engines ore industry turbines. AneCom AeroTest applied this procedure to modular test vehicles. In this area the advantages of the procedure are apparent, too: The reliability of operation prevents customer hardware from being damaged and an efficient time management avoids delays in customer development programs – two key factors of customer satisfaction. The contribution of AneCom AeroTest on Trend Monitoring is just one among many on this year’s InnoTesting Conference, a forum for discussion for industry, equipment suppliers, service providers and research institutions. A special focus in 2014 will be on the transfer of testing methods from aerospace to other sectors (e.g. automotive, railroads, maritime shipping…) and vice-versa.
