Tallahassee Realtor® Is a District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Feb. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- ORLANDO, Fla. – Debbie Kirkland, broker-associate, Armor Realty of Tallahassee in Tallahassee, is the 2014 District 8 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state’s largest professional association. Kirkland will serve her fellow professionals in District 8, which encompasses Holmes, Washington, Jackson, Calhoun, Gulf, Franklin, Liberty, Gadsden, Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Madison, Taylor, Lafayette, Gilchrist, Levy and Dixie counties. She is a member of the Tallahassee Board of Realtors®.

“The Tallahassee, FL are of this district has seen a strong increase in home sale transactions and median sales prices,” says Kirkland, who is active in residential brokerage, development and equestrian properties. “New construction is also on the rise and the outlook for 2014 is very positive.”

A leader in regional and state real estate organizations, Kirkland was 2012 president of the Tallahassee association and has been active on a number of committees. She is a member of the state association’s board of directors and has served as chair of the strategic planning and professional development committees. In the community, Kirkland is a member of the Northeast Business Association, Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and has participated in Imagine Tallahassee and fundraising for Big Bend Hospice.

As district vice president for the state association, Kirkland will focus on delivering Florida Realtors’ services and support to the area’s real estate professionals. “Our association is dedicated to upholding the high standards of our profession, while providing resources that help Realtors deliver excellent service to their clients,” she says.

Kirkland believes that Realtors are key advocates for homeownership and leaders in civic and charitable organizations. “Realtors are the glue of our communities,” she says. “We are the placemakers who are deeply involved at every level, making a difference for everyone.”
