Business English Course at ETC International College Gains Popularity, More Places for 2014

BOURNEMOUTH, U.K. - Feb. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- ETC International College, an English language training school, now enrolls more students onto  their Business English course. The course aim is to help students learn to communicate more effectively in various business situations and enhance their English skills.

According to the course director, the students of the Business course learn all the required skills for effective performance in English in a business context. He adds, “We encourage students for applying any business knowledge and experience they have, while working through the course.”

The Business English course curriculum includes learning communication skills for conducting telephone conversations, face to face meetings, job interviews and dealing with money matters. The course content also includes the subjects of formal letters, faxes and memos, reports and summaries, conferences, travel, sales and marketing, delivery and after-sales.

The course director also gave us information about the process of enrolment onto this ETC course. The college always conducts an initial placement test along with an interview. A good upper-intermediate  English level is required.
In addition, the college conducts subsequent and regular assessments of progress during and at the end of each term of the course.

“We provide the students with the opportunity to discuss their progress with tutors after each assessment. We are also willing to provide additional counseling if required,” he added.

The minimum age required to pursue this course is 18 years and the group size is between 4 and 14.

“I have joined a new company, but I am facing some communication constraints. This Business English course at ETC International College is very helpful,” says Ilke Bayram from Turkey, a student at ETC.

Duration of this ETC course is between two weeks to twenty-four weeks.
