This competition spans three days and invites hot, spicy, and zesty food-related products to compete for the prestigious Golden Chile Award.
SuckleBusters wins a Golden Chile
According to Zest Fest, the host of the Fiery Food Challenge, the Golden Chile Award is one of only two “fiery” food awards that stand out in the United States. SuckleBusters not only took home this prestigious award, but also won in every barbecue sauce category they entered.
“We are very pleased with the contest results,” said President Dan Arnold. “SuckleBusters entered a total of six barbecue sauce categories, and came home with six awards!”
Event attendees raved about SuckleBusters and their high quality sauces. “Based on the awards tonight, SuckleBusters clearly makes the best barbecue sauce in Texas!” said one excited fan.
Recipients of the Golden Chile Award get to market their winning products during the 2014 calendar year, so SuckleBusters plans to use the award to promote their two newest sauces: Chipotle and Spicy Mustard. Both of these sauces won awards at the contest.
“This is our fifth consecutive year to win a Golden Chile Award,” said Dan. “We hope to get our products into more specialty retailers and expand the business by 30 percent in 2014.”
