This one-day conference was an excellent opportunity for the Connect DFW team members to meet the market leaders as well as take a detailed look at the emerging trends and practices in business leadership and management. The days were a perfect blend of fun and work.
One distinct advantage for Connect DFW is that the firm is located in Dallas itself, the venue of the conference. Thus, most of the team leaders at Connect DFW were in attendance, including Philip, Elise and Natalie, all of whom received special invitations to the Keys to Success Meeting for upper level management and entrepreneurs. These three are rising stars according to the CEO of Connect DFW.
In addition to being able to send so many team members to attend the conference, Connect DFW’s CEO, Rachel, was invited to speak as well. She was most inspired by a video highlighted by the division president regarding the Alabama Crimson Tide and the effort it takes an accomplished sports team to reach the top, requiring the full commitment of the athletes as well as the coaching staff. As one of the team’s Account Managers commented after the session, “For us as managers it was really eye opening to see that just when you think you are working hard, someone is always working harder.”
Connect DFW‘s Administrator, Kathy, was also a distinguished event speaker, and our most recent promotion Bradley who offices out of Southern California was also selected to Speak. These two rounded out a plethora of recognitions for the firm.
Team Performance and Promotions at Connect DFW
Connect DFW has been growing strong, with team members demonstrating their dedication to company objectives and professional growth as well. This is especially evident by the promotions that several team members have achieved of late, according to the firm’s CEO. To start, AJ, Jasmine, Jazmene and Thomas have all been promoted to Account Managers within the past month, with promotions eminent for a few of our other Brand Ambassadors.
Only those who demonstrate consistent activity as Marketing Representatives and demonstrate an interest in taking on more responsibility receive this type of promotion. In their roles as Account Manager, these three individuals will be accountable for three to five campaigns as well as overseeing five to seven other Marketing Representatives. They will be highly involved in the hiring process of new team members, and will be overseeing the training and coaching of those entering the management-training program. Additionally, they will conduct conference calls, lead meetings, and take on public speaking engagements on behalf of the firm.
Reflecting on their recent achievement, one of the soon-to-be Account Managers stated, “Connect DFW has given me amazing growth opportunities that I’ve seized fully. Prior to joining this company as a Marketing Associate, I was working at a law firm with no prospects of advancement in the near future. So that’s why I turned to this job and I really haven’t been disappointed. I’ve been given plenty of room to grow at my own pace and in my own way, and I feel so much better for it!”
The achievements of another team member, Natalie are worth mentioning. The firm’s CEO explained her contribution to the company in this way, “Though Natalie has been with Connect DFW for only six months, she has already done commendably well in our industry. In fact, if I were to choose the best way to describe Natalie, it would be female powerhouse!”
The CEO went on to explain that Natalie is very passionate when it comes to her profession and this clearly reflects in her current role as Account Manager. Her incredible performance in January is only a sneak peak at what is to come for the rest of 2014. She is always ready to learn something new, as she is never afraid to ask questions and to go outside of her comfort zone! As a result, she consistently rises above the rest in her ability to achieve amazing results, not only in her personal development, but also on behalf of our clients.
The CEO added, “Not only has she been known as a top leader by the Connect DFW team, but she has also been recognized by the Vice President of the entire division! Through her hard work, determination and capabilities, Natalie is creating her own path to success and is on her way to the top.” It is anticipated that Natalie is on pace to lead an expansion team in the baseball market by the beginning of April. Her achievements are not only well deserved, but also inspiring to the entire Connect DFW team.
Another member of the leadership team at Connect DFW said, "We know Natalie will achieve every goal she sets for herself and we are honored to stand by her side through her journey to success!"
