Laxpalooza Lacrosse Tourament heading to Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, FL

SARASOTA, Fla. - Feb. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- O'Neill Sports Enterprises and Premier Sports Campus is proud to announce that LAXPALOOZA Lacrosse Tournament is coming to the state of Florida over Memorial Day Weekend on May 24-25, 2014 at its complex in Lakewood Ranch.  This will be one of the largest, most competitive, and festive lacrosse tournaments of its kind for both boys and girls at all levels in the Southeast Region.

The Premier Sports Complex at Lakewood Ranch offers (23) full size lacrosse fields, (9) with lights, with plenty of complimentary parking for a great getaway location over the holiday weekend.  The complex is located in Lakewood Ranch, FL (just outside Sarasota) as the area is known for its Main Street shopping, great restaurants and attractions, not to mention being 15 minutes away from the most beautiful beaches in Florida - Siesta Key and Lido Beach.

LAXPALOOZA will offer challenging competition at all age levels for Boys (U9 through HS) and Girls (5^th grade through HS) with both A and B level competition for both community and travel elite teams.  Since the tournament is being held the same weekend as the NCAA Lacrosse Championships in Baltimore, we will be displaying a large Jumbotron TV(11'x17') on a truck to show the games off "in style" during their event.

Teams will be able to compete against other teams from all states including Florida, Georgia, and the southeast region along with several teams traveling from Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York from Laxpalooza Tournament near Lehigh University in PA.  "Our Tournament in Pennsylvania, which has grown over 300% in past years, has always attracted teams from all over the east coast every year.  By placing in the top 3 in their respective divisions, these Mid-Atlantic teams are offered an opportunity to come to our Florida tournament at a heavily discounted rate, in order to assist in the cost of travel expenses." says Kevin O'Neill, Owner and Tournament Director.  Teams in the Florida event who place in the top 3, will receive the same opportunity to come to Pennsylvania the following year to compete against more than 120 teams from the Mid-Atlantic Region."
