By: Greater Raleigh NAWBO Prior to the luncheon, Jane Pinsky will lead a brief, informal discussion on “Your Bottom Line Depends on You—Being an Advocate” from 10:15am to 11:15 am. This talk is exclusively for luncheon participants, and Pinsky will outline why being an advocate is good for your business’s bottom line, ways to advocate for new growth, and how to remove road-blocks that can hinder your growth. Nancy McFarlane is currently the Mayor of Raleigh and the Founder/President of MedPro Rx. Prior to serving as mayor, she was a two-term Raleigh city councilwoman. Moderator, Jane Pinsky, has been Director of the North Carolina Coalition for Lobbying and Government Reform since 2007 and a North Carolinian since 1986. The Coalition works to einsure that North Carolina has governments, from local to state, open and accountable to their citizens.
