Salt + Light to Broadcast Assumption University’s Christian Culture Series

TORONTO - Feb. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Salt + Light Television in partnership with Windsor’s Assumption University is proud to announce the broadcast of the Christian Culture Series.

Beginning in 1934, the series seeks to promote Christian culture, showing an openness and receptivity that balances tradition and contemporary relevance. Speakers include Church leaders, theologians, scientists, historians, poets, novelists, artists, political figures and economists. This year’s list of speakers includes: John Thavis (former Rome bureau chief for Catholic News Service), Father Thomas Rosica, CSB (CEO Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation, President of Assumption University and assistant to the director of the Holy See Press Office) and Alison Smith (senior producer, CBC Television).

Now for the first time ever, the series will be broadcast across Canada on Salt + Light Television and will also be streamed online at saltandlighttv.org/live. The first episode will air on Saturday February 15, and continue for a total of six weeks on Saturdays at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
