National Wear Red Day: Spreading Awareness for Women Regarding Heart Disease
According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the No.1 killer of women in the United States of America. Due to the statistics, the American Heart Association has led a movement to spread awareness for women. There are a variety of ways to get involved in National Wear Red Day with supporting the "Go RED" movement. The Go Red Challenge allows you to show off your spirit and involvement with wearing red. During National Wear Red Day, those who participate have the opportunity to post their images on social media sites using hashtag: #GoRedChallenge. During these campaigns, participants are able to vote for their favorite images that are uploaded. This allows participants to encourage one another and spread awareness.
