Annual Commercial Real Estate Overview in Charlotte February 12

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Feb. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- (Charlotte, N.C.) – When Charlotte’s economy takes off, will the commercial real estate market lift with it? Or does the economy boom as a result of growth in the real estate market?  What is the relationship between the two, and what does that mean for investors, developers, local companies and small business owners as 2014 begins?

These deeper questions, as well as traditional overviews of real estate market segments, will be discussed in the 7th annual Outlook on the Commercial Real Estate Market forum sponsored by the accounting firm of GreerWalker LLP and the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.

The free event is by invitation only and will be held Wednesday, February 12, 5:30-7:30 pm at the Ritz Carlton Charlotte, 201 East Trade Street.

This year’s panelists come from a variety of fields and will discuss the market from differing perspectives in order to give attendees a holistic, overarching view of the coming year. They are: Dr. John Connaughton, professor of financial economics at UNC Charlotte and director of the Babson Capital/UNC Charlotte Economic Forecast (http://belkcollege.uncc.edu/forecast); Chris Branch, senior managing director, multi-family residential development, for Faison; Mark Cagley, credit products executive-east, Bank of America; and Bill Lane, senior director, real estate finance global real estate, TIAA-CREF.
