Dynetics to Host International Modeling & Simulation Conference & Exhibition

Feb. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- The Dynetics Solutions Complex will be the site of the 2014 AlaSim International Conference & Exposition May 6-7, 2014. This event will bring together members of the modeling and simulation (M&S) community from Alabama, North America and the world. It is designed both to showcase the breadth and depth of the latest M&S activities and to provide a forum for collecting, documenting, displaying and discussing the current state of M&S technology throughout the world. The Alabama Modeling and Simulation Council (AMSC) organizes the annual event.

The conference will feature presentations by plenary speakers and industry experts, as well as panel discussions, workshops, tutorials and exhibits. Dynetics Chief Technical Officer Tom Baumbach will deliver the keynote address. Baumbach serves as a key advisor in Dynetics’ cyber modeling and simulation activities, as well as the company’s other technical pursuits.

Ralph Weber, current president of AMSC, general chair of the conference and an engineer in the Dynetics Sensor Systems Analysis and Engineering Department, said, “The 2014 AlaSim event will offer a number of different formats that will allow attendees and participants to see, hear, be heard, teach and learn about the science and technology of simulation. There is something for practitioners, vendors and academia. The M&S council invites participation through submission of papers, project briefings, panel discussions, tutorials and workshops.”
