Feb. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Hailing from Miami, Minister G is a charismatic, driven and direct hip-hop artist who set out to create music with an honest and eclectic approach. His story is chockfull of highs and lows as the budding rapper spent most of his early youth roaming the streets, living the life and risking jail time. However, things took a different turn. Minister G wanted something more. He wanted to make music with a true meaning; music that could be truly inspirational.

The result? His single, “Rules of Engagement,” is a homage to his personal spiritual uplifting, as well as a tribute to the hip-hop culture as a whole.

His sound falls somewhere in between the depth and warmth of old school hip-hop, and the sharp focus and balance of the best modern productions.

It’s all about tight sounding analog-style beats, lush synth lines, and samples that bring in diverse influences and colors.

On top of it all, sits a vivid, expressive and unique lyrical flow. Even the visuals in this video pays compliment to his style. The official video is gaining popularity on YouTube and his single, and with music bloggers and reviewers, such as “The Frizzo Show,” “Urban Express,” “Robots and Bass Drops,” “Bound 2 Hip Hop,” “I Still Love Her,” and “Word is Bond.”

The music review site, “Word is Bond” wrote, "Rules Of Engagement ," the first single from Minister G’s upcoming album "Church Fo’ Da Thugz" gets the visual treatment and for a compelling song, it’s well done. Minister G is far from a preachy spitter but rather gives you a balance between the good and the bad without sugar coating anything."

“The Frizzo Show” added, “Rules of Engagement" comes off as a throwback to the days when rap artists actually told stories in their rhymes. The song is about the consequences of a robbery and the video is well produced with just the right amount of editing by director Michael Jacobs. Minister G's approach to rap includes what I would consider an almost Gospel sound. He's not a rapper that just raps. His singing skills can't be ignored on this track. He really takes it to church with this one.”

He's available for radio and television interviews.

Let his song tell you the rest of the story. Watch it here:
