Annual San Francisco Bay Area Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition at Laney College Student Center. The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition is the signature event for the Math and Science Career Academy. The annual event, which is free and open to the public, allows students to visit and move freely among exhibitor tables and activities. STEM professionals and graduate students from organizations such as Clorox, the California Department of Transportation, P G & E, Career Girls among others will be there to share their passion for STEM with attendees, discuss their careers, conduct hands-on demonstrations and showcase real world applications of math and science. “The San Francisco Bay Area has a strong STEM sector filled with a diversity of academic institutions, corporations, government agencies and start-ups were STEM professionals work and STEM undergraduate and graduate students study. This event is a great opportunity for K-12 students to learn about STEM careers as well as the post-graduation opportunities available for them right here in the Bay Area. ” stated Ms. Tokiwa. T.
