John Robert McCauley was born in Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He went to high school in Rockford, Illinois and graduated from Michigan State University. He is one of six children, three boys and three girls. The author felt compelled to share this story and pictures of Drones with the public through this book.
