AIB co-presented at this important event.  Attendees evaluated common pitfalls, such as those associated with material staging and handling of obsolete materials and preventing undeclared allergens reaching the marketplace. Additionally, participants learned best practices in label control.

The number one reason for class I recalls, often stems from an ingredient present in the product and not on the label.

Allergens are the leading cause for recalls, causing significant consumer health issues, scrap costs, and sourcing conundrums.
