QuickBooks help for Advertising Specialty Distributors from a Distributor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Feb. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Harriet Gatter, former owner and operator of Presidential Promotions, announces the opening of her Quickbooks Pro Advisory services company, Accounting Support, LLC.  For 23 years Harriet operated her own Ad Specialty business performing all the necessary and never-ending functions.  Along the way she learned to simplify and combine processes and procedures.  Accounting Support is the combined result of her Ad Specialty experience and her QuickBooks expertise.  Her mission is to help Ad Specialty Distributors to simplify and improve their accounting and bookkeeping efforts with the efficient use of QuickBooks.

“I suppose I am a little different.  Yes, I loved working with my customers and suppliers.  I also loved the creativity in selecting items and designing them, but I also was excited when my month end reconciliations balanced”, Harriet says.

QuickBooks is the predominant accounting software serving small business owners and Harriet used it throughout her Ad Specialty business experience.  After selling her business, she studied and was certified as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and was almost immediately called upon to help an Ad Specialty Distributor friend recreate her accounting records as a result of a complete loss of data … without back up, of course.

Harriet said that the effort was enlightening, “It took several months and I realized that my experience in the business allowed me to easily communicate and talk to the suppliers.  I knew exactly what to ask for and saved tons of time not having to bother  the owner about every detail.  I didn’t have to learn the business.”   This experience caused her to realize the complexities and the uniqueness of the Ad Specialty business, and her experience in it, will make her QuickBooks advice all the more valuable.
