About Jason Satterlund:

Satterlund is an award-winning movie, web series, music video, and commercial director based in the Pacific Northwest. He directed the short film Splinter Cell - Extraction to a "Spirit of Comic Con" award at Wizard World Portland Comic Con in 2014. He picked up a Geekie Award for “Best Trailer” at the 2013 Geekie Awards for the Steampunk series The Record Keeper. Other awards on his souvenir shelf include a "Best Music Video" honor from the Nashville International Film Festival for You Don't Know Me by J-Remy, a Golden Eddy for "Best Professional Feature" from the Cedar Rapids Film Festival, and a Telly award for the commercial "Take the Gift."

As the owner of Big Puddle Films, a full service production studio, Satterlund has been directing films for over 25 years, traveling the world filming underwater sea life in the tropics, high-end political candidates in the United States and Russia, street children in third world countries, and top country music artists in Nashville, Tenn. Satterlund loves telling stories through film. He began his career in Portland, Ore., working with ad agencies, and then spent several years in Nashville, Tenn., producing music videos, live events, documentaries, political events, and feature films.

He recently returned to Portland, Ore., where he lives with his wife and their two cat overlords.
