Indigenous Student Achieves Lifelong Ambition

 
GOSFORD, Australia - Feb. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Michelle Kulk successfully applied for an Indigenous Scholarship at Central Coast Community College to enable her to achieve her dream of becoming a beautician.

Michelle recently completed her Certificate III in Beauty Services and Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy at the College and now wants to learn more.

“I am really grateful to the College for awarding me this scholarship.  It has changed my life.  I’ve always wanted a career in beauty and enjoy helping people feel good about themselves”, Michelle said.

Michelle now wants to study massage therapy before hopefully progressing to University.

"I am passionate about my Indigenous culture, and by undertaking this study, I have been able to encourage other Indigenous people to follow their dreams.

“I am so grateful to the tutors at the College for all the encouragement they gave me. I hope that I can inspire others to follow their dreams”, Michelle said.
