Actyl Group to Visit Croatia, Czech Republic to Recruit Workers for Open Positions Across Canada

REGINA, Saskatchewan - Feb. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Actyl Group, a leader in international workforce solutions for businesses and organizations, will make visits to Croatia and the Czech Republic to continue its efforts to recruit skilled workers to fill the labour shortage currently impacting western Canada.

The two eastern European countries are filled with skilled workers, yet they are also experiencing high rates of unemployment. These are “visa-free” countries, which means that candidates can get their work permits at the Canadian border without having to wait for embassy approval — a major perk for employers. Actyl Group now has more than 1,500 “ready to work” applicants from visa-free countries throughout Europe and the Caribbean.

“We are absolutely thrilled to make yet another recruiting trip to eastern Europe on behalf of employers throughout Canada,” said Linda West, president of Actyl Group. “There are some outstanding opportunities available, especially with the labour gap impacting many parts of the country. This is a great chance for individuals in Croatia and the Czech Republic to explore the opportunity of finding gainful employment and embarking on new adventures.”

Actyl Group is currently recruiting candidates for about 75 positions in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Some of the highest demands for workers are in the hospitality industry and skilled trades, as well as food service, construction and many others.

Representatives from Actyl Group will first visit Prague, Czech Republic, March 5-7, 2014. The free information sessions will be held daily from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., with each session taking about an hour. Actyl Group will then visit Zagreb, Croatia, March 9-12, with information sessions taking place daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

At these events, Actyl Group representatives will meet with and interview candidates directly, ensuring that they meet the needs of the various employers looking for skilled, hard-working individuals to fill critical roles. Candidates are asked to bring an e-ticket, copy of their resumes (CVs) and a passport to the event.
