Cincom Report: Australian Manufacturers Have Declining Outlook on Business Growth

NORTH RYDE, Australia - Feb. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- SYDNEY, Australia – February 5, 2014 – According to a recent research study completed by Cincom Systems, almost three quarters of Australian manufacturers are experiencing less than 5 percent growth. Therefore, the industry as a whole is shifting its focus from external, customer-facing improvements to improving the productivity of existing resources.

The recently published “2014 Australian Complex Manufacturing and Enterprise Technology Benchmark Report” (http://forms.cincom.com/CWAU1401005) states that manufacturing firms are most concerned with growing revenue and containing cost (43 percent). Yet, 60 percent of manufacturing firms admit that they have no plans to deploy new IT technologies that help manage both their “back office” and “front office” activities.
