The sale will include furniture, appliances, art, antiques and collectibles, household goods and building materials. This sale gives shoppers the opportunity to browse through our excess inventory and select items to complete their home or office.
This year our plans provide for homes to six deserving families, building new homes in Flagler County, following twenty years of building the American Dream for 82 families. Proceeds from this sale will help with this goal.
As with the contribution of goods, Habitat for Humanity depends heavily on volunteers. Those who work at the store sort clean and price the donations that come in, fixing any that need repair. Volunteers also provide customer assistance in the store and work the truck crew, picking up donations and delivering purchases. Still others assist in various office functions, and a large group works on the most visible, and appreciated, effort and the reason for our existence – the construction of new homes for those in need. None of this effort would be possible without the great Habitat volunteers and more are always needed.
