AMAC airs historic Beatles interview on its Web site

PRLog - Feb. 4, 2014 - WASHINGTON, D.C. -- "Before the Ed Sullivan Show 50 years ago, before Beatle Mania created a frenzy in the United States and before the Mop-Tops introduced the world to a new genre of music, the awesome foursome spoke to our reporters at the American Forces Network-Europe,” according to AMAC contributing writer John Grimaldi who was a reporter/newswriter at AFN.

The historic interview, now available at the Web site of the Association of Mature American Citizens [http://amac.us/historic-beatles-interview (http://amac.us/historic-beatles-interview)], aired on the Weekend World show hosted by Jim Stutzman.  The Beatles were the newest sensation to hit Europe and were in Paris for a live concert when the GI network caught up with them.

According to Paul McCartney, what triggered it all half-a-century ago was “a little bit of a different style.”  If that was the case, that “little bit” was enough to set the world on fire and change Rock and Roll forever.  But hear for yourself what George, Paul, Ringo and John had to say when they were young and when we were young [click to listen (http://amac.us/historic-beatles-interview)].

The Association of Mature American Citizens [http://www.amac.us] is a vibrant, vital and conservative alternative to those organizations, such as AARP, that dominate the choices for mature Americans who want a say in the future of the nation.  Where those other organizations may boast of their power to set the agendas for their memberships, AMAC takes its marching orders from its members.  We act and speak on their behalf, protecting their interests, and offering a conservative insight on how to best solve the problems they face today.  Live long and make a difference by joining us today at http://amac.us/join-amac.
