QCI approved value add quality courses for Pharma, Biotech and Allied Professionals offered by IGMPI

DELHI, India - Feb. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Institute of Good Manufacturing Practices India (IGMPI) has announced various courses for Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality Assurance & Quality and Regulatory Affairs programmes. The courses will be offered in the regular, part time & distance cum e- learning modes.  Students or professionals working in the Pharma, Biotech, Food Industry, Healthcare or allied medicine fields such as Ayurveda or Homeopathy can avail these courses while continuing their service/business/ education. The courses have been structured and designed under guidance of field experts and thus promise to impart theoretical and practical knowledge about the defined subjects.

Courses

Post Graduate Diploma/Executive Diploma in Good Manufacturing Practices: Basic knowledge of GMP or guiding learned professionals about the current and latest changes, issues and affairs in the industry – this course will cater to all needs. There are also industry-type specific courses for existing employees or those determined to join particular industry like for pharma manufacturing, medical device manufacturing or cosmetic manufacturing, the food supplement industry etc.

Post Graduate Diploma/Executive Diploma in QA & QC: Acknowledging the need to incorporate the right understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control in the industry, IGMPI has made efforts to bring together experts from healthcare (including all different verticals) industry and experts from healthcare regulatory authorities plus known and experience quality control and quality assurance professionals from across the country, to prepare guiding and training courses solely targeting the QA-QC personnel demand of the industry.

Post Graduate Diploma/Executive Diploma in Regulatory Affairs: As a way to remain updated, training into good practice and compliance for regulations, audit, check and review compliance with regulations, accomplishing appropriate documentation of varied activities being conducted at a manufacturing plant, food processing unit, biotechnology laboratory or manufacturing unit or any other organization or unit of the healthcare industry is a must. IGMPI proposes to make available regulatory affairs knowledge, training, practical tips, case studies, etc through these interactive courses.

The Programme fee for distance cum e-learning mode is Rs 12000/- (USD 500 for overseas applicants) for the Post Graduate Diploma as well as Executive Diploma. The programme fee for regular mode is    Rs 90,000/- and for part time mode is Rs 40,000. This fee is inclusive of class room teaching, study materials, assignments, training kits, case studies, webinar, LMS support & placement assistance. A fee concession of 10% is applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Weaker Section/Defense Personnel for PG Diploma Courses. Eligibility for admission in a PG Diploma Course is graduation. Final year students are also eligible. While for an Executive Diploma course, you need to have a minimum of 6 months of Industry experience.
