Ice Fest: Going for the Gold Downtown Downers Grove Feb. 7-9, 2014

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. - Feb. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Get out of the house for a weekend of fun, shopping and dining for all ages!  The Annual Downtown Downers Grove Ice Festival is here, February 7-9, 2014!  Enjoy over 40 unique ice sculptures, including Olympic Rings, Mickey Mouse, Skiing Chef, Snowboarder, Skiing Dog, the American flag and many more lining downtown Downers Grove.

Watch a live carving demonstration under the lights on Friday evening at 5:30pm.  The fun will continue on Saturday and Sunday with live ice carving demonstrations from 11am-3pm, performance by Radio Disney Chicago (sponsored by Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital), a Ronald McDonald Magic Show, Pancake Breakfast at First Congregational Church, a special movie Ground Hog Day at Tivoli Theatre (admission is $5.00  and proceeds will benefit Noah’s Hope), shopping and dining specials throughout the downtown.
