Iconic Tempe Hotel Completes Room Renovations with More to Come

TEMPE, Ariz. - Feb. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- ThePhoenix Marriott Tempe at the Buttes resort in Tempe, Ariz., announces the completion of a key milestone in its eight million dollar reinvestment with the completion of renovations to the hotel’s 353 guest rooms, including all of its patio level and resort view rooms.  The cosmetic and structural refurbishment of the famed Tempe hotel will continue for several months to come with many contemporary upgrades, alterations and improvements to common areas, the pool area, lobby and award-winning dining and meeting spaces with minimal disruption to guests.

Each of the hotel’s guest rooms has been modernized with warm colors and fresh finishes featuring new carpeting, paint and upholstery, and updated room accents.  Exterior renovations are currently underway as well, including overall improvements and painting, elevator modernization and repaving of the property’s parking lots.

In a move towards Marriott’s signature ‘Great Room’ concept, the lobby has been re-invented and refreshed in a contemporary style featuring modular seating and carpeting, soft meeting areas and flexible workspace with complimentary Wi-Fi, modish artwork and a stunning treatment to the natural flagstone floors.   Improvements are on-going in the resort’s outlets including new flooring at the award-winning Top of the Rock restaurant, new decking by the heated, outdoor, mountainside pool and upgrades to the fitness facilities and Narande Spa. Further announcements and grand-re-opening events are planned for later this year.
