Epson to showcase learning-focused technology solutions at Riyadh education expo

Latest range of projectors, printers & scanners to be displayed at IEFE 2014
 
Feb. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- [UAE, February 01, 2014] – Epson has announced that it will showcase its latest range of projectors, printers and scanners at the 4th International Exhibition and Forum for Education (IEFE) 2014, the official annual event of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Education, taking place from February 3 to 7, 2014 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center. Epson will introduce its education-related technology solutions at the 5-day event targeting the education sector of the Kingdom and the region.

During the show, the spotlight will be on Epson’s exclusive range of education projectors, including the ultra-short throw EB-485Wi, the multimedia portable EB-955W, the installation projector EB-G6900WU, the auto-correcting EB-1945W, and the home theater EH-TW5200. The company will also demonstrate a complete range of its new Ink Tank Solution (ITS) printers, including the L355, the L550, the M105, the L800 and the M200. Also lined up for the exhibition are Epson’s DS-510, DS-6500 and DS-30 range of Workforce scanners.

Epson’s EB-485Wi is an interactive projector with new shorter throw distance, higher brightness and more flexibility. It features a lightweight, interactive pen, allowing teachers and students to write on screen simultaneously. On the other hand, EB-955W comes with flexible installation features and advanced network connectivity. Offering three times brighter colours, WXGA resolutions, and 3,000 lumens of white and colour light output, it ensures engaging classroom sessions. Lastly, the EB-G6900WU features 6,000 lumens, WUXGA screen resolution, 3LCD technology, 3600 vertical rotation, and a curved surface and corner walls for sharper, clearer classroom presentations.

ITS printers feature an integrated ultra-high capacity ink tank that offers excellent quality at affordable rates with up to 90 per cent lower cost per page than competitive printers. Epson’s ITS printers feature a Micro Piezo printhead technology and genuine ink that results in high-quality documents at an ultra-low cost per page.

The Saudi government has raised its budget for education in 2014 by 3 per cent to reach SAR 210 billions.
