Palm Coast, Fla. – Palm Coast Chiropractic Center is pleased to announce that they are now accepting two new insurance companies; United Healthcare – and with that Florida Healthy Kids - and Veteran’s Affairs (VA) medical care.

“We want to use Florida Healthy Kids as a way to provide care to children, because our passion is to keep children from becoming sick,” said Dr. Thornton who has three children of her own and is the sole proprietor of the practice. “We like to encourage children and their parents to utilize the benefits of chiropractic services to prevent injuries and sickness,” Dr. Thornton added.

Healthy Kids is designed to provide quality, affordable health insurance for families not eligible for Medicaid. Healthy Kids coverage includes doctor visits, immunizations, dental care, emergency care, hospital stays and much more. Florida Healthy Kids mission and values are to assure access to quality health services for Florida’s children with a focus on families, cultural awareness, innovation and compassion.

The Veterans Health Administration helps provide veterans with health care and medical assistance. This is beneficial to many veterans, but some have to travel in order to receive services. “We realized that some veterans were traveling to Orlando or Gainesville to seek chiropractic care covered by the VA. We wanted to offer them high quality services close to home,” said Thornton.
