Attend "Redirecting Children's Behavior," Eight-Week Parenting Workshop in Oakland Beginning March 4

OAKLAND, Calif. - Jan. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Redirecting Children's Behavior is an eight-week parenting workshop, which educates parents and professionals working with children ages toddler to teens, on parenting skills. The workshop is presented by Leslie Hites, Redirecting Children's Behavior Trainer and Instructor and founder and head of school at The Renaissance International School.

The workshop teaches parenting techniques that help to:

-Reduce arguing, scolding, reminding and yelling
-Feel positive about parenting skills
-Promote change in your children's behavior
-Promote agreement on discipline with your spouse

The parenting techniques that are learned help children to gain:

-Self responsibility and good decision making skills
-Enhanced self esteem
-Self motivation and initiative
-Cooperation skills and successful attitudes
-Resistance to peer pressure

The dates for the next Redirecting Children's Behavior series at The Renaissance International School are:

Tuesdays, March 4 to April 29, 2014. No class on April 15.

The workshop is held at The Renaissance International School at 3618 Dimond Avenue, Oakland.

The fee for the workship is:

$125 per (1) parent of The Renaissance International School community
$175 per couple of The Renaissance International School community

$299 per (1) guest parent
$495 per two guest parents
