The DC Bar is hosting the first ever Healthy Lawyers Lifestyle Medicine Lunch & Learn Seminar at the DC Bar Conference Center on February 5, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. lawyer) at Psychology Today’s website , “according to an often cited Johns Hopkins University study of more than 100 occupations, researchers found that lawyers lead the nation with the highest incidence of depression”, (Latham, 2011). Equally disturbing is the issue of lawyer suicide (http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/19/us/lawyer-suicides/index.ht...
) in which an article at CNN asks “Why are lawyers killing themselves?,”(
Flores & Arce, 2014).
