MBK Real Estate Appoints Anita Hsu As Vice President/General Counsel

IRVINE, Calif. - Jan. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- MBK Real Estate LLC has announced the appointment of Anita Hsu as Vice President/General Counsel of the company. In her new role, Hsu will primarily be responsible for establishing an in-house legal department presence and overseeing all related processes and procedures for MBK Real Estate and its two subsidiaries, MBK Homes and MBK Senior Living.

Before joining MBK Real Estate, Hsu was a partner in the real estate group of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP.  She specializes in real estate transactions, including complex acquisitions and dispositions, development, financing, leasing, property management and other matters related to the ownership and development of commercial, industrial, residential and retail properties. Hsu also served (on secondment) as in-house legal counsel for an alternative energy company.

A recipient of the Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans, Hsu received her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
