Osteopathy TV Founded in Canada

TORONTO - Jan. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- The profession of osteopathy was founded by Dr Andrew Taylor Still, in the USA in 1874. Osteopathy was the first organized profession of manual therapy. However there has never been a TV station dedicated to the osteopathic profession until now.

Manual osteopath; Dr Shahin Pourgol, who serves as the president of NUMSS (National University of Medical Sciences) and NAO (National Academy of Osteopathy) founded OSTEOPATHY TV on January 28, 2014 as an instrument to increase the name recognition of osteopathy amongst the public while also increasing their health related knowledge.

The core content of the programs of this TV station will be related to osteopathy. The TV station will use the help of osteopaths to create and bring topics to the public. The language will be in English.

It is hoped that Osteopathy TV will elevate the profession to new heights in public name recognition and would help the profession of manual osteopathy become regulated in the province of Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.

The Osteopathy TV programs will be available for viewing by the public online through its website, Youtube and other social media. TV viewers in all countries would have access to the programming.
