PRLog - Jan. 30, 2014 - GURGAON, India -- For decades, Vatika Group has strived to develop real estates across India that has a story to tell. Vatika’s endeavours to provide eco-friendly and self sustainable solutions for residential and commercial properties has given a new direction for the real estate development in India. Infotech City complements the objectives and ethics that Vatika Group has pursued for more than 25 years, while contributing to the future of India.

Vatika Infotech City is one of the largest townships in Jaipur, India. A self-contained unit, Infotech City designed by the award winning Studio u+a, New York, embodies a classic fusion of retro-inspired and modern architectural design. A lavish 600 acres township near Ajmer Expressway in Jaipur, it can easily be considered as one the largest townships in India. The design of Infotech City has incorporated the revolutionary concept of “New Urbanism”. The township is designed and developed so that it supplements the sustainability and the ecosystem, which promotes a greener and eco-friendly environment.

The Concept of “New Urbanism”

New Urbanism is an urban design movement which promotes walkable neighborhoods containing a range of housing and job types. It arose in the United States in the early 1980s, and has gradually informed many aspects of real estate development, urban planning, and land-use strategies.
New Urbanism is strongly influenced by urban design standards that were prominent until the rise of the automobile in the mid-20th century; it encompasses principles such as traditional neighborhood design (TND) and transit-oriented development (TOD). It is also closely related to regionalism, environmentalism and the broader concept of smart growth. The movement also includes a more pedestrian-oriented variant known as New Pedestrianism, which has its origins in a 1929 planned community in Radburn, New Jersey.

The Future of Indian Real Estate

Vatika Infotech City is the first real estate developer in India to introduce the concept of “New Urbanism”, which encompasses the principles of Traditional Neighborhood Design (TND) and Transit-Oriented Development (TOD). Vatika Group has implemented many of these concepts while designing and planning Infotech City. The concept emphasizes on providing self-sustaining & eco-friendly, growth and development of real estate, urban planning and land-use.
It provides a smart and intelligent perspective for urban development, for example pedestrian-friendly road network, intelligent development of open spaces, context-appropriate architecture etc. Vatika Infotech City has incorporated these principles in its basic design layout, hence building a cleaner and greener India, for you and your family.
