Melani Griffith Elected to Penthera Board

NEW YORK - Jan. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Penthera (http://www.penthera.com/), a provider of intelligent portable video software solutions for TV networks and content distributors, today announced it has elected Melani Griffith (http://penthera.com/team/) to a seat on its board.

Griffith is an 18-year veteran of the cable television industry. This includes seven years with Insight Communications as its head of programming and video product management. She currently serves as executive vice president of business development for Penthera.

Prior to joining Penthera, Griffith was the senior vice president of programming and video product at Insight. She also once ran the eastern division for affiliate sales at AMC Networks and was an account executive in advertising sales for Fox Cable Networks.  Griffith was selected as one of 12 “Wonder Women” by Multichannel News and WICT, among other honors. She most recently served on the national board of directors of Women in Cable Telecommunications.
