Test Preparation Company Awards “Perfect Score Scholarship”
HOUSTON, October 21, 2013 -- Rachel (SeoYun) Jang, a junior at Cinco Ranch High School, achieved a perfect score of 2400 on the SAT college admission test administered on October 5th, thanks in part to preparation courses from Test Masters. Jang’s score places her in the top 1% of all SAT test takers in the world. In her words, attending the Test Masters course “was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!”
Test Masters has awarded Ms. Jang a $1,000 Perfect Score Scholarship, given to all students who complete the Test Masters SAT & PSAT course and go on to attain a Perfect SAT Score.
“We are very proud to welcome her to the increasing number of perfect SAT scorers produced by Test Masters,” said Roger Israni, President and Director of Test Masters. Over the past 5 years, over 40 Test Masters-prepared students have made perfect SAT scores. Test Masters has developed a reputation for consistently producing more perfect SAT score and National Merit Semifinalist students than any other preparation company in the country.
The Test Masters Full Length SAT & PSAT course Jang took as a sophomore in 2012 included classroom instruction and computer-based curricula covering Critical Reading, Math, and Writing. The complete course can be covered over a 4-5 week period, or can be taken at a more leisurely pace online over a period as long as 4 or more months.
In addition to achieving exceptional test scores, Ms. Jang also excels in music; she has played the viola professionally in gigs for various art galleries, churches and charities, and has been selected to be a member of the Texas Region 23 Symphony Orchestra for the past two years. She has also served as a volunteer at Camp Children’s Association for Maximum Potential, and is currently a member of the National Honor Society.
So what are her plans? Beyond traveling the world and owning an Aston Martin V12, she is interested in studying business or engineering at the collegiate level. But she has made it a point to decide what her interests are before pursuing any particular major or discipline: “I would like to explore all of my options, meet new people, and really understand what I love to do before I make any final decisions!”
