Real world broadband speeds: Why lined connections just don't cut it

A recent collection of regional tests across the UK by thinkbroadband has revealed that despite all the costly advertising campaigns and promises of superfast speeds, the nation is woefully behind on its broadband connections.

BURNLEY, U.K. - Jan. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Across the entire northwest – where 6G Internet is based – the median download speed was 12.2Mbps. In age of multiple gadgets all sharing the same connection and the ever-demanding need for bandwidth hungry future technology, the future isn't looking too bright.

UK Regional Broadband Speeds via thinkbroadband speed test, analysed January 2014

Let's focus more clearly on Blackburn where 6G opened its first retail store in The Mall. According to Cable.co.uk, if you're unlucky enough to have an internet connection in the BB1 2LR postcode, you can expect download speeds of just 1Mbps and uploads of 566Kbps based on the 50 tests they carried out in that post code.

Why is this happening? Essentially, all of the major providers operate in the same way. They use a legacy copper wiring network that has been overloaded with too many connections which are sent for miles across traffic-filled lines before finally making it to the property at a fraction of the speed and reliability it started with.

6G Internet is different. It sends its broadband and phone connection wireless through the air via line of sight technology, which means that it’s transmitted from point A (which could be one of our transceivers on a nearby tall building for example) to point B (your home). It doesn't go all round the houses.

It's superfast, safe and future-proof. Call us today to see how we can drastically change your connection for the better.

The internet is changing for the better with faster speeds, more secure connections and massively upgraded technology all from 6G. The future-proof revolution begins in the air. Your flight is waiting
